Most of these reviews are fake. Look at the same language and errors throughout (”i” instead of “I” etc).
Shill:
Allowing vendors to post their own reviews
Trying to make it look like the reviewers are independent
Moderating (i.e. deleting) independent reviews
Taking a referral fee for each account sold
I know they’re fake cos I bought one of these accounts based on advice from this site and the sister site (which posts some of the same reviews verbatim). Only to find that none of this is true: the support was non-existent, the service slowed down a 10M line to 325kbps and most on-line content blocks the IP addresses they use. How any of these guys can be delighted and in such wanderlust beggars belief.

Friendly and technically knowledgeable live support. I think I am pretty savvy with computers. i had a problem with slow speeds and they found it was firewall on my router. I didnt even know I had a firewall on my router. Speed is now brilliant, watching BBC iplayer in HD very very good work Lamnia

To correct review of the 27/7/2010.
I set up a quarterly payment through PAYPAL, unaware that payments would automatically taken from my bank account. I wrongly presume that I would be asked to sanction these payments before monies left my account.
My advice is to always cancel these subscriptions when no longer required.

Used the service when working in Dubai. Various problems with connections.
WARNING. Paid three monthly through PAYPAL. Someone set up a subscription, without my knowledge. Now back in UK another payment taken, tried to get refund, promised but not forthcoming.
My advice read all the reviews and use another company.

Worked fine for the first few weeks then would not connect for days on end. Customer service is slow and useless. Found myself having to email every few days and wait days for a response. They say they have live support, they don’t. Stay well clear as you spend more time chasing than anything else.
I’m now using Strong VPN and have had no issues since joining them a few months ago and they are cheaper and have realtime support.

have been with lamnia for a year now and although at first a few teething problems they have really got their act together, an excellent reliable service, get to watch all my favourit UK programmes, the 24 hour support is excellent, would highly reccommend. Also am clueless with computers , i found it quick and easy to use and install.

Very poor and slow customer service. They change diallers and access data without telling and leave it to the client to chase them. You are an internet company for god’s sake. How difficult is it to email clients re changes.
So…today. Can’t log on again and no one around to help. As I pay in advance for this service I am very unhappy.
I was with wonderful Scothosts who are superb but I can’t get their VPN to load Channel 4 with my system.
Lamnia would not be a recommendation of mine.

I received via email the server list from Lamnia within about a couple hours after subscribing. It included a list of many servers, from U.S , Canda, U.K and recently they also added Netherlands. It included my username, password and instructions on how to set it up , which took me about 5 minutes only to set up on my Apple Mac Book. Very simple and easy to follow instructions is provided on their website, with step by step screen shots, anyone can setup easily.
I used primarily only the U.S servers, so I cant comment on the U.K, Canada or Netherlands servers. So I used the U.S server to immediately subscribe to Netflix & Hulu. Im now able to stream movies very fast from Netflix & Hulu , with no buffering except at the start of the movie. In addition all the websites previously blocked by my ISP, are now open, and I am enjoying the internet without any censorship. I am currently residing in the Middle east and most of these websites and many videos in youtube are blocked in this part of the world.
I have also faced a problem while re-subscribing to their service, I apparently sent the wrong email address while subscribing, and hence I didn’t receive the new login details, i.e username , password etc. I have emailed them about the issue, & they have promptly replied back to me and sent me the login details to the correct email address I requested, within less than hour.
I highly recommend Lamnia service, their VPN experience has been very pleasant, and I am glad that I have chosen Lamnia.
Lamnia have very fast servers, & its my sixth month now that I am using their service , and so far so good, I am a satisfied customer & I highly recommend their VPN service.

I have used Lamnia for 3 months and apart from one password issue that was fixed immediately with an instant email response, it has been excellent. The connection speed is great, I just wish my ISP was as reliable.

I have used Lamnia VPN for the last year and have just renewed subscription for another year. Apart from a couple of times when my username/password was not recognised, which were dealt with very quickly by their friendly staff. I have enjoyed excellent Tv reception, watching all major uk tv stations .
Though I thought they were good when I first subscribed I think Lamnia have improved the service they provide making it one of the best providersavailable. I would highly recommend this VPN.

Support with these guys is a joke. Say that they don’t get your emails when they clearly do and were down more often than up. I would stay well away from these people if I were you.

I’ve been reading through the reviews for Lamnia with nothing short of shock. I have used the Lamnia service since 2008 and have never had a problem with the support provided. The speed of the service is very good and it has allowed me to stay in contact with the worlds TV whilst living out in Thailand.
I admit, from time to time there is a loss of connection but it is normally resolved within a day or 2 at the absolute maximum. Most of the time it’s just a case of waiting 5 minutes and trying again. In any case, Lamnia have responded quickly and resolved any problems I have had throughout the time I have been using them.

I have been with Lamnia over a year now first 10 months brilliant service, live support, quick email response and a lot of downtime. Then in February it was dire. I stayed with Lamnia as I had had such good service for so long and Im glad I did. Their new network is faster and since March 1st No downtime

Absolutely atrocious customer service……..worked acceptably for a couple of months (apart from speed issues)…….has been impossible to connect for several weeks with no response from Lamnia.
Have initiated a dispute through Paypal and am advising everybody I prematurely recommended them to , to do the same before Lamnia collapses under the weight of its ever increasing public criticism.

Very poor. Took many hours to send welcome email despite asking for quick response and gave no response to any follow up email.
As needed access urgently gave up waiting and went with competitor, they sent login immediately.
Still no response to any message sent. Asked for a refund as described by their website – no response. Currently disputing in Paypal.
Can’t comment on the actual service as never used it but for reasons of customer service alone would not bother with this service – there are other providers on this page – try one of those.

I have used this service for a while now. In the beginning the service was great but then I had similar problems to those described by others. I am glad to say that the service is now back to what it was before and the problems seem to have been a glitch.

SCAM
Avoid this VPN, as it is a scam.
It is constantly down.
Down all last night and again nothing tonight. This has been going on for weeks now.
I have now flagged my last payment to Lamnia with Paypal as a dispute. Would recommend that others do the same. It appears to be the only realistic way of getting the money back.
Just to recap, Lamnia is a SCAM and their money back guarantee a con.

The service is awful – it is down more than up ! On-line support must have left the country as you only ever get the email option and they never reply back – not suprised as their customer base must be going ape! I could not possibly recommend this service to anyone at the moment and would suggest that unless they sort their act out, they won’t have any customers left. Lamnia – if you are reading this, get your ‘technical’ guys to do their job properly. How long does it take to sort out a service on which their customers rely?

Extremely poor customer service. They take your money with wonderful promises but when it comes to deliver the goods they are quiet. I’m sure this is a scam – don’t be surprised if you never see your money again.

Unless you are lucky enough to get entirely trouble free service (which i doubt looking at other reviews) then I personally would look elsewhere, as there is absolutely no service support whatsoever!
When it works then it works very well. although Hulu does not work at all. But it becomes very frustrating when you have just paid for new subscription and the new login info does not work, and there is no one to help you!

Too many outages. Customer support non-existent. Like a previous reviewer, I have never found anyone there for ‘live support’. Emails are not answered for days (I am still waiting for a response to a message sent .ten days ago).

Unreliable (several days out of service each month).
Customer support poor. Takes several days and several emails to resolve connection outages. ‘Live support’ seems to be a myth as there has NEVER been anyone available when I have tried to access this.
