BolehVPN was started in 2007 as a private project back when our local ISP started blocking and throttling content. Being firm believers of the concept of a free internet, a solution was found to provide the freedom to use the Internet with an emphasis on anonymity, therefore eliminating the worry about being monitored or having sensitive data intercepted.. In line with this, we are one of the few providers that do not log internet activity and support P2P.
We decided to share this solution, and since then we have grown into one of the largest personal VPN providers in the South-East Asian region and a prominent international VPN provider. As a home-grown enterprise, we put our customers as our top priority, and constantly seek to improve our services via customer feedback. We offer personalised customer support, and maintain a close-knit community of users where technical expertise is shared.
Aside from VPN services, we also provide game server hosting and Mumble hosting for customers in the South-East Asian region.

I have been using many VPN providers for 3 years now. But none of them have such excellent support on every aspect. They help with all kind of questions and don’t write shitty responses like did You try to reconnect or so on. No problem with client application, no problem with contact, no problem with support. Many servers to choose, various options of security(VPN, proxy etc.) and great community. I finally found VPN that just suits my needs. Speed is very good. Highly recommended

I had Chris as my representative for service on my Mac computer. For some reason I had a lot of problems getting the client together, and was upset that it wasn’t working out as planned.
However, most companies would just send you static bullcrap replies that are usually from a copy and paste document to handle customer concerns, Chris and Boleh are not this type of company. I spent almost a week with 50 back and forth emails with him trying to figure out exactly what the issue was, different installers, different programs, apps, the works. He had his team try on his side, he took control of my computer and figured everything out eventually to make me one damn satisfied costumer.
I never write reviews, even when I know I should. But when my problem was handled so perfectly with extreme customer care, I had to. I don’t see customer service like this in companies anymore, usually it’s a voice mail message or some sort of outsourced company with little to no knowledge of the issues that arise, but this company has some of the best service I’ve seen in a long time.
I was beginning to get frustrated with the errors and problems with the client, but the service, reliability and support make up for everything this past week to give me a superb VPN I can rely on.

Saw I had to troubleshoot an issue to get it up and running on my computer. Sent off an email and within a half hour had a response. The tech and I emailed back and forth until I was able to log on. Possibly the best customer service I’ve ever had.

I would have to disagree with Adam. Using BolehVPN’s new firewall bypass which transforms traffic to look innocent and successfully bypasses the GFW.
Other VPN providers experiencing similar problems as well (I use a few for security) but BolehVPN’s response was pretty quick and unique in resolving this issue. Speed is slightly slower with the new bypass but I’m ok with it if it means a longer term solution.

Adam, we rolled that out on very short notice and we are planning to add more servers to the GreatFirewallBypass configuration. TCP443 works too but you need to configure the proxy as per our installation guide
we have a US server for Chinese users coming up this week and another UK server. As for the low speeds, how are you testing it? Is it on a well seeded torrent or just in a speed test.

I signed up for Boleh after reading all the good reviews here. Unfortunately, only a single server (GreatFirewallBypass) can go through and that one runs at 0.25Mbps download (I’m at 11Mbps download without).

I have been a customer for several years now, since the very first time i tried the service has been smooth and easy to setup but i have to say it has improved a lot in usability, now is very nicely automated from the ordering and activation to the installation and configuration updates.
Support is friendly and responsive and they have a choice of regional servers.

Great support, great speed, great variety of server locations, great prices. I travel all over the world and connect wherever I can, and Boleh gives me the hookup on both my laptop and Android tablet. Their Windows client is easy to use and does all the legwork for you. Been a customer for around four years. Took a while to choose a good VPN provider but glad I took the time.
Support is great, forum community is helpful and friendly, products are well priced, feature packed (many server location and vpn protocol choices). All this as well as a superb free gift
Installation is easy and well documented, payment quick and secure, renewal is simple and deployment is very robust.
Definitely would recommend this to friends (and have done!).

We’ll be happy to troubleshoot your speed issues. Note that if you’re using speedtest.net that’s not an accurate way to measure unless you turn off your VPN and also test directly to a country in which our VPN servers are located in. Then test again with VPN on (with the right country) and to the same country.
You should not have problems in maxing out your connection on a multi-threaded connection.

I’ve been using this service for 4-5 years now. Speed and reliability is top-notch, support is fast and extensive, and the price is ridiculously affordable, and the rates get cheaper the longer the subscription. They take the issue of security seriously and are always evolving. I especially like the fact that they offer various types of payment methods, including PayPal.

I started using BVPN years ago after service-hopping many times. Little did I know this nifty little provider back then was to be the most reliable, trustworthy and offers lots of options for everyone. Speedy support and a friendly online community were the icing on the cake.
I also subscribed to their seedbox service, which was a pleasure to use. I ended up recommending my friends and colleagues to subscribe as well. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the services they provided.
Although I no longer use their services because the need has passed, I still recommend BolehVPN to everyone and anyone in the market for such services.

As a computer geek I did a lot of research on just about all of the big VPN providers around the world for about 6-8 months, and what stood out about BolehVPN was the fact that they do this right, by the way in which OpenVPN recommends, by offering you a ca cert, client cert, private key and TLS Authentication key.
Also BolehVPN has great support, and a nice online forum community!
The speeds of this VPN are really nice and certainly one of the best for P2P lovers!

Been using the service for 3 1/2 years now. easy installation with comprehensive guides for all proxied software (utorrent etc…) and their support is excellent. never taken more than a couple of hours for my queries and problem fixes. Allows facebook etc at my workplace and torrent download.

I’ve started using bolehvpn 2 years ago until now.Now i’m totally reliant on it for all my downloads and bypassing website blocks no thanks to my draconian ISP.
Price is very reasonable and affordable and not to mention free gifts from BolehVpn too! Price is reasonable, not the lowest in town, but absolutely reasonable and worth it!
Reliability? Never had any issue after several months of usage, it is my ISP that gives more problem than BolehVPN service!
Speed is just excellent, always max. out my capacity!
Regarding the support, I can tell you I had never experienced such great and speedy response! Fast yet helpful! Imagine a support personnel reply you in the middle of the night using a smartphone, where can you get such great respond with other online service?
Yes, I highly recommend BolehVPN, after get used to it, I am now more rely on it.
