like always all critics are exaggerated in one direction or another. I have a very standard configuration (windows8 and a standard main ISP) … by the way the app TIGER could not connect. I was chatting long time (and exchanging email) with support (online). In the end step by step I was guided to manually set up config and make it work. It looks that speed is not affected. Still I am not so sure if my IP address is really protected… Commercial support is absolutely INADEQUATE…. just a few hours after subscription (2 years special offer) I asked to cancel it (as it was not working) but they did not allowed it.
On this base I CANNOT suggest to subscribe if one is not REALLY sure if it is workin in his own enviroment
