About Getflix
Overview
Getflix markets both Smart DNS and an optional Full VPN service. It should not be excluded as Smart DNS-only: its dedicated official VPN page explicitly says that paid Getflix subscribers receive an encrypted VPN service. Conversely, Smart DNS setup instructions for televisions and consoles should not automatically be interpreted as full-device VPN support.
The VPN page describes PC, Mac, and mobile use, listing OpenVPN UDP, L2TP, SSTP, and the legacy PPTP protocol. It recommends OpenVPN UDP for its service. These are the provider’s published setup options, not a blanket endorsement of every listed protocol or a guarantee that all methods remain compatible with every modern operating system.
The pricing page lists USD 5.95 for one month, USD 44.98 for one year, and USD 62.83 for two years, with other terms and a lifetime offer also shown. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. A separate renewal charge and simultaneous VPN connection allowance were not confirmed.
Getflix states that Full VPN is included with paid accounts but excluded from the Smart DNS trial. Trial wording is inconsistent about duration, so no precise VPN trial is promised here. Its pricing FAQ says unused subscription time is not refundable. Claims of no logging and unlimited bandwidth were not independently audited or performance-tested in this research.
