About F-Secure VPN
Service overview
F-Secure VPN is a consumer VPN sold by Finnish security company F-Secure, both as a product and within broader protection offerings. The official VPN page confirms Windows, macOS, Android and iOS support. Subscription choices cover one, three or five devices. The root domain redirected to a German-language homepage, while the English VPN-specific page remained accessible and supplied the product evidence.
The English page displayed annual euro prices of €49.99 for one device, €69.99 for three and €79.99 for five; two-year choices were also shown. A 30-day money-back guarantee is advertised. Trial wording is inconsistent: the main offer describes 30 days, while an FAQ passage mentions five days. Customers should confirm the actual selected offer before entering payment details.
Privacy requires more nuance than a blanket no-logs label. The product privacy notice says it does not log browsing destinations, but describes provisioning information and temporary abuse-prevention connection records retained for ninety days. It distinguishes older OpenVPN/IPSec versions from newer Hydra, WireGuard and IPSec versions, and says a third-party provider also processes the described data for the newer feature. Security awards for other F-Secure products should not be treated as an independent audit of this VPN.
This is a source-based service overview, not a hands-on review. No speed, streaming, leak or security tests were performed. Availability and commercial terms can vary by location, platform and payment channel; confirm the final order and applicable legal terms before subscribing.
The product notice additionally gives a one-year retention period for VPN provisioning logs, which can include a source IP address and device ID. The older implementation also describes source IP addresses, session durations and timestamps in 90-day abuse-prevention logs; the newer implementation has separate third-party processing disclosures.
