Review from ShieldsCW on Leafy VPN

October 9, 2026

I used the free trial servers for about a day. I can’t say anything about the paid servers, but I won’t be buying their service if the free servers are any indication of the service. I know free servers should be expected to be worse than the paid ones, but this was horrible! The connection dropped every 5-10 minutes (not 20 minutes like the website says), and was EXTREMELY slow. I wsa using manual config on OpenVPN. I never used the dailer, nor their customer support.
I see a lot of great reviews for this service. I’m glad it’s working so well for those people, but based on my experience with the trial, I can’t trust the service enough to put money into it.
The whole point of a free trial is supposed to entice me to pay for full service. This trial was a poor attempt to make me want the service. I tried BolehVPN’s trial and was highly impressed, so ultimately I’ve decided to buy their service instead.
