About HideMyAss!
HideMyAss! uses the HMA name on its current website. The provider describes a global VPN network for browsing, gaming and downloads, and says its servers are optimized for streaming and P2P traffic. It lists Windows, macOS, iOS and Android installations, with connection limits that depend on the selected plan.
HMA's advertised controls include split tunneling, a kill switch and settings for automatic connections. The site also claims protection against IPv4, IPv6 and DNS leaks and describes its DNS service as no-log. These are provider descriptions rather than results from fresh testing. Its own FAQ acknowledges that a VPN connection can slow down when traffic travels through a distant server.

I am a little surprised at the poor reviews. First - the price for a one year subscription of $6.50/month is pretty reasonable. Two - I have had HMA for over a year and have zero reliability issues, I use it on…

I agree with all the reviews that give this crappy VPN service a 1 star. Even their free web proxy stinks. Their crappy proxy service not only obfuscates but scrambles html and js code introducing all kinds of errors. I tried accessing…

Have to agree with the rest. They have a very shady cancellation practice. Its takes a few screens of " Yes i want to cancel" or it stays active. And customer service is the worst out of all the vpns I have…

No refund for renew and a very "discret" auto-renew policy !!! Even by being very careful during the purchasing procedure and by reading all the full Terms&Conditions page. I was not aware that I have an automatic renewal setting activated. To be…
