Ready for the big game? There are plenty of ways to catch the action, even if you’re abroad. Here’s how to watch the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs face off at Super Bowl LV.

The biggest sporting holiday of the year is upon us with Super Bowl LV fast approaching. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs will meet at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on Sunday, Feb. 7 2021. The Super Bowl will be streamed in 4K ultra-high definition, and there are several ways to tune in.

COVID-19 means in-person attendance at Super Bowl LV has been limited to 22,000 spectators (7,500 health care workers and 14,500 additional fans); typical capacity for Raymond James Stadium is just shy of 66,000. So you’ll likely be tuning in on the big screen at home, or streaming from one of your many devices. If you have cable in the US, you will want to tune into CBS for the 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff time. There is also still time to get yourself a television that can take advantage of the high-quality stream. (You probably don’t need an 8K TV just yet.)

While most Super Bowl watchers will tune in via cable or broadcast TV, there are still plenty of ways to watch the game online. The game will be streamed directly on CBSSports.com, the CBS Sports App, and CBS All Access on your phone and connected TV devices. The Yahoo! Sports NFL apps will also have streams of the big game for anyone to watch.

There are also multiple devices you can watch it on, including Android, LG, Samsung, Vizio, and Xfinity Flex smart TVs, Apple TV, Fire TV, and Roku streaming devices, as well as Xbox and PlayStation gaming consoles. CBS has a full list of supported devices here.

If you subscribe to an over-the-top internet television provider that offers CBS, you will get the Super Bowl. You should be able to tune in from services like YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, and fuboTV. For more, see our roundup of The Best NFL Streaming Services.

For those located outside the United States, there are several options available to you. UK audiences can watch on the BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport website and mobile app, and Sky Sports. The Super Bowl will be televised on ESPN, Kayo Sports, and Seven Network in Australia, and CTV, DAZN, RDS, and TSN in Canada.

A comprehensive list of where to tune in around the world is also available on the NFL website.

If you’re in an area where it’s difficult to get a workable stream through conventional means, you can always use a VPN. There are many great VPN services out there that we would recommend, but for this occasion you’re probably looking for something free and easy to set up.

Note, however, that not all VPN services are created equal. A good VPN secures your data and preserves your online privacy, but there are many out there that don’t work as advertised. When shopping for a good VPN to stream a live sporting event, focus on two attributes: data limit and speed. We recommend our Editors’ Choice ProtonVPN because it’s free and has no data limit. Another good option is NordVPN, which is an Editors’ Choice for fastest VPN. If you need a VPN that works well with the BBC iPlayer, look no further than CyberGhost VPN.
